BELGUARD® PE PB

BELGUARD® PE PB is a combination of Phenoxyethanol and Methyl Paraben, Ethyl Paraben, Propyl Paraben , Butyl Paraben. This synergistic combination is equally effective against bacteria, yeasts & mould fungi.

This is one of the most widely used preservative blends that has proven over many years of consumers use to be safe & effective in personal care products.

General Remarks

  • BELGUARD® PE PB is a clear colourless liquid and well tolerated at temperatures up to 80°C. It is stable and active in the pH range 3 - 8. No further antimicrobial compounds required for the product preservation.
  • Addition of BELGUARD® PE PB at high pH values should be avoided.
